Challenge
We originally did the roof for this customer during the end of the prior year. He added the trim around the house and also replacement windows for the back of the house this year. The trim project went very smoothly, but the windows had some leaking below the windows and there was no housewrap installed around the windows.
Solution
To remedy the window leaking and to prevent future wood damage around the windows we removed the siding on the back of the home. We replaced all damaged wood and added new housewrap around the windows and taped it off. The home did have housewrap but a 2-3 foot area around each window was left uncovered originally. Once all was taken care of we were able to install the replacement windows and then rehang the siding.
