The customer had wanted to do a full re-sheath of the roof during the replacement. We had measured it all out and sent the shingles and OSB for the roof out. During the tear-off the guys noticed that the rafters were not all an equal distance of 24" from each other. Some would be 18" others up to 36" apart. This makes it difficult to re-sheath as both ends of the wood must hit the end at a rafter. The roof did need more OSB than was originally stated with more waste in order to make sure we could nail both ends to the rafters. The crew was able to finish up the roof later that evening.
Home was originally aluminum siding. Customer had an addition built which was done in vinyl. They were looking to get the rest of the home to match the addition. So we found the matching style and installed new siding to the main home to match.
